**What You Will Be Doing**
- The Revenue Assurance Officer will be responsible for supporting the Revenue Assurance Team to maximise Pathology revenue and ensure that it is billed in accordance with legislation and contractual agreements.
- This role sits within the Healius Finance team, reporting to the Revenue Assurance Manager and will work closely with the Revenue Team, Commercial, Operational, Clinical, Digital, IT, Data & Analytics and Finance teams to improve billing solution catered to the needs of our end customers while maximising Pathology’s revenue.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Assist ongoing audits of both high volume and complex/high risk billing scenarios to ensure revenue is maximised within relevant guidelines.
- Process identified opportunities for revenue standardisation across different billing systems.
- Assist with identifying issues and trends.
- Assist in the maintenance of billing reference documentation for use by Master Data, Accounts Receivable, Customer Service, Collections teams and provide training as required.
- Assist in data quality maintenance.
- Promote a culture of data quality awareness within the team and wider organisation.

**What Type of Person Will Be Successful**

**These are the type of attributes & skills you would possess**:

- Understanding of Accounts receivable process
- Experience with billing systems and/or clinical systems
- Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency working with Microsoft Suite - Word, Excel, Power Point
- Experience in a health billing background would be advantageous
