**Revenue Officer**

**Grade: Clerk Grade 5/6**
**Employment Type: 2x Full-time, Temporary opportunities up to 12 months (with potential to extend)**
**Location: Flexible NSW locations + Hybrid working.**

**This role sits within the Revenue Management Team - Strategy & Innovation, Revenue NSW**

**About the team**

Revenue Management are a small team within Strategy & Innovation. We are responsible for the financial management and reconciliation of over $45 Billion in state revenue annually.

**Your day-to-day**
- Reconciling core business systems with financial ledgers to ensure accuracy in internal and statutory reporting.
- Preparing revenue reports and information notes for internal and external stakeholders.
- Providing financial and technical advice to support projects and ensure compliance with relevant standards and legislation.
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies in systems and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Supporting system testing activities and contributing to project lifecycle documentation.
- Performing administrative tasks to maintain team operations, policies, and procedures.
- Contributing to multiple continuous improvement projects.

**To be successful in this role you will demonstrate**:

- Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- An understanding of accounting principles; qualifications or equivalent experience along with strong excel skills are highly regarded.

Salary Grade 5/6, with the base salary for this role starting at $99938 base plus superannuation
