**Medical Administrator**

**Contract: 3-month contract, potential for extension**

**Hours: Flexible - FT/PT arrangement available**

**Rate: $30 - $35 per hour + super**

**Location: Newcastle**

**Your new company**

Hays currently has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join the team on a PT/FT basis initially for a 3-month contract, with the potential to be ongoing. Our client works within health industry and is located in Newcastle. In this position, you will primarily be providing administration support to a medical team. We are seeking someone who is customer-centric, demonstrates a high level of professionalism at all times, and has recent experience working in the health/medical industry.

**Your new role**

Your day-to-day duties will include:

- Providing administration support to a medical team.
- Answering customer enquiries efficiently and escalating as required.
- Providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Document management, including processing mail, scanning, and archiving.
- Manage and book travel arrangements for your team.
- Process expense claims.
- Assist with diary and calendar management.
- Arranging meetings and preparing meeting minutes.
- Office maintenance, including maintaining a tidy reception area. Administration duties as requested, such as processing test results.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous Administration experience essential.
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
- Present yourself professionally at all times.
- Highly organised and have great customer service skills
- Able to manage your own workload and collaborate with your team to provide admin support.
- Be tech-savvy, with the ability to pick up new systems quickly
- Can-do attitude and ability to be flexible and adaptable.
- Prior experience working in the health or medical industry is highly desirable.

Successful applicants will need to complete a police check, two reference checks and been vaccinated against COVID-19.
