**The Role**
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Assistant to join our technical/quality team at our site in Adelaide. Reporting to the Technical Manager your role is responsible for the following duties and responsibilities. These duties will include but not limited to;
- Collection and analysis of raw material and production samples to ensure all PFG products are manufactured at the highest Quality Standard.
- Provide technical assistance to Quality Assurance personnel ensuring the plant produces a quality, safe product.
- Developing procedures, forms, quality systems & testing systems to be used in experiments.
- Managing Approved Supplier Program and Allergen Management Program.
- Manage the generation, collection and filing of production recipes.
- Assist in maintaining the process and product quality across the business, including pre-operational hygiene audits, GMP audits and internal audits & external audits.
- Assists in specific Quality and HACCP projects by conducting research to develop theories, techniques, and processes, and testing the reliability of outcomes under different conditions.
- Developing and monitoring Quality Control procedures and Food Safety standards.
- Ensuring company complies with all requirements of the Quality Assurance system through maintaining, monitoring and improving the HACCP program and coordinating HACCP training programs.
- Assist in the Investigation and response to customer complaints and non-conformances.
- Provide training to Production staff and Quality Control personnel to ensure an accurate understanding of food safety & quality standards.
- Other ad hoc duties as per directed.

**The Person**
To be successful in this role, you will be passionate about this space and have previous experience in a similar filed as well as have the following skills and experience in;
- Previous experience in food and beverage FMCG environments.
- Have good working knowledge on HACCP.
- Experience in internal audits, GMP, GHP.
- Proficient use of the Microsoft Suite and other CRMs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
