Boilermaker

Job description

We are currently seeking Boilermakers for the fabrication part of a business in Salisbury QLD. Pays are starting at $46 per hour + Overtime.
We are looking for people with experience and strengths in the following areas
Fabrication including marking out, cutting out, tacking, welding and finishing of jobs to a high standard
Use of various machine tools and hand tools used in the manufacturing process
Various welding processes including MIG,
Reading & understanding of technical drawings and some design
Worked using jigs and developed the jigs
Working as a part of a team to achieve a result
Problem solving and being flexible to assist in meeting our customer's requirements

Essential requirements
Certificate III in Engineering - Heavy Fabrication (or equivalent trade qualification)
Relevant experience in structural fabrication or fabrication in medium to heavy industry
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and designs.
Ability to perform fabrication and assembly of components in workshop
The ability to pass a weld test to AS1554 standard - MIG and TMR standards.
Some highly desirable but non-mandatory attributes include.
High Risk Licence, Forklift (desirable)
Worked in a workshop
All position welding
Current & valid driver's licence and own transport

The work is varied and interesting and we will be looking for people that show the ability to work unsupervised when necessary. We are looking for people to start immediately.
