**The Position**
**St John of God Hawkesbury District Health Services **is a teaching hospital in Windsor NSW providing acute community and allied health services for the local community and surrounding districts.
- A vacancy for an
- **Allied Health Assistant (AHA)** is available in our Allied Health team on a permanent full time basis of 76 hours per fortnight.
- Working as an AHA you will be required to provide clinical and administrative support to physiotherapists, occupational therapists, other therapy and nursing staff as required. You will play a vital role as a member of the multidisciplinary health care team who collaboratively strives to deliver excellent care to clients and their families.

- Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or commitment to complete same.
- Ability to follow instructions, policies and procedures.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), with an ability to relate to others in a sensitive and professional manner.
- Demonstrated ability and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Well-developed organisational skills, with an ability to manage your own workflow and cope with competing demands.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Sound computer skills
- Current NSW Driver’s license with proved excellent driving record
- Current First aid Certificate
