Purpose of Role:
To ensure our high standards of customer-facing/sales team are maintained, we are looking for highly motivated Area Manager to join the Western Australia team based in Welshpool, WA.

Key Responsibilities:
Focus Area:

- Provide world class customer and product support in capital products and aftermarket wear solutions with a high level of professionalism.
- Develop strategies to penetrate assigned accounts, initiate new business and grow existing business through team and individual selling efforts.
- Identify new marketing opportunities and develop strategies to convert these into actions.
- Perform onsite and workshop-based inspections and providing technical advice to optimize ESCO product performance.
- Provide equal attention to established customers as to growing new business.
- Demonstrate a strong degree of mechanical aptitude.
- Prepare high level correspondence and quality tender responses and manage contractual processes as per company policy.
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical)
- Some exposure and experience to heavy industry operations or mining (preferred).
- Have an excellent customer service approach.
- You will be a self-starter that takes pride for the quality of work you deliver with excellent time management, solid communication and negotiation skills.
- You will also have a commitment to ensuring the highest levels of safety and ethical standards.
- You will be equally comfortable working autonomously as well as with a team.
- Computer literacy is required along with some data entry skills.
- Working Environment: Open Cut Surface Mines, Welding and Fabrication Shops
- Physical Demands: Ability to access and board mining and construction equipment; climb ladder; lift products within OH&S of Australia requirements.
- Travel Requirements: Air and Car to mine sites in local and remote areas (>50% of the month)
- Key Relationships: Customers, Sales employees, CSR’s and Warehouse Supervisor
