**Job description**

**We are a community pharmacy that is conveniently located within a medical centre in Chatswood and within walking distance from the train station. We are looking for a pharmacy assistant to start approx in Oct/Nov.**

**You will be working with an experienced and professional team.**

**Job tasks and responsibilities include**:

- **General customer service and operating cash register**
- **Implementation of promotional activities**
- **Supply of medicinal products**
- **General retail duties and assisting stock control**
- **Assist the pharmacist on duty**
- **Some social media work**
- **Possible local deliveries within walking distance**:

- **Work hours can vary but are generally 9am - 4pm for 3-4 weekdays**

**Skills and experience**
- Must have attention to detail
- Be organized, reliable and efficient
- Friendly and professional customer service
- Confidence with general computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel & the ability to use social media platforms such as Facebook & Instagram
- Clear communicator & a good listener
- Have dedicated work ethics

COVID-19 considerations:
Staff are required to wear masks and social distance. As the premise is small, customers are attended to and then asked to wait in the medical centre whilst their scripts are being processed.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Chatswood, NSW 2067: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
