The role works in partnership with state operating authorities to enable a safe and engaged workforce to meet customer service targets and regulated responsibilities at the lowest sustainable cost for Adelaide customers. You will be responsible for contract procurement & performance function, including performance monitoring and reporting, procurement, data management and governance, in order to deliver strong procurement / commercial outcomes for the benefit of the business.

What will U be doing?

Ensure team works collaboratively across the business and within Business Performance and Services team in achieving strategic priorities;
Provide strong management and engagement of the team, ensuring high quality timely outcomes and consistent acceptable behaviour;
Develop and maintain team effectiveness through implementation of communication and team building strategies;
Lead the development of framework for managing effective customer outcomes including the establishment and delivery of future strategy and subsequent annual business plans;
Ensure business processes and systems requirements associated with parent company requirements are met;
Ensure the analysis of system outputs that provide insightful business performance information;
Lead procurement planning to ensure the development of a range of options in regards to Compliance, Strategy, performance and Alliance objectives;
Develop, maintain and continuously improve robust management reporting across the business that drives accountability / ownership and improves performance;
Facilitate the provision of consistent procurement and commercial advice to all levels of management; with a clear focus on issue and what needs to change to improve performance;
Provide effective Contract management with a focus on productive supplier relationships;
Oversee the compliance of internal policies and controls;
Ensure reporting of compliance and guidance enabling improvement;
Oversee current and future accreditations as necessary; and

Oversee auditing of internal systems, processes and procedures to ensure documentation meets commercial, legal and contractual obligations.

What experience do U need?

Demonstrated experience in a leadership role with evidence of coaching, training and managing change;
Demonstrated experience in management of a business remit;
Demonstrated experience in the provision of value adding commercial, business and governance advice to senior management; and

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and people skills with strong customer focus, promoting "value-add" initiatives.
