**The Opportunity**:
Minda has a unique opportunity for a Work Health & Safety
Business Partner to work with leaders and employees to advise and
support in all areas of WHS, and to achieve a safety-first culture.
Reporting to the Group Manager, People Operations, this role will
enjoy a high level of autonomy, partnering with leaders across the
**business, and will**:
**Role Responsibilities**:
Provide advice, coaching and support to leaders & staff
across the full remit of WHS.
Build understanding of WHS's important through the delivery
of training/ education.
Implement solutions for the prevention and early
intervention of WHS issues.
Assist to develop and implement WHS systems, policies and
procedures.
Review incident reporting and ensure leader led
investigations meet standards.
Plan and coordinate annual Health & Safety
Representative training.
Ensure WHS is embedded into practice to achieve a strong
safety culture.
**Essential Requirements**:
Proven experience as an Advisor and/ or Business Partner,
providing advice, support and coaching to Leaders and staff in
Work Health & Safety.
Knowledge of the WHS Act, regulations, Codes of Practice
and Australian Standards.
Strong communication skills to build stakeholder
relationships, consult and coach.
Able to work with autonomy to problem solve, manage
priorities & work to deadlines.
Understanding of investigation methodologies for incidents,
and experience implementing corrective actions.
Continuous improvement outlook and experience developing
policies & procedures.
Tertiary Qualification in WHS and/ or significant
experience in WHS related roles.
**Desirable**:
An understanding of the Self Insurance Performance
Standards/AS 4801.
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.
**Other**:
NDIS Workers Screening Clearance.
Current and unrestricted South Australian Driver’s
Licence.
Up to date vaccinations against Covid-19.
Able to travel to other SA metro sites from time to
time.
