We are currently seeking caring and dedicated Aged Care Support Workers to join our team. Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of our participants.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide personalized care and support to residents in accordance with their individual care plans
- Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming
- Support residents in mobility and transfers, using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Assist with medication management and administration, under the guidance of a registered nurse
- Assist with meal preparation
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including light housekeeping tasks
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of resident interactions and care provided

**Requirements**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy, compassion, and patience when working with clients
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings
- Current First Aid, CPR certifications, Blue card & Police check (or willingness to obtain)

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $30.00 - $65.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sherwood, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
