**About the facility**
- Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.
**About the role**
- As the Palliative Care Grief and Bereavement Counsellor you'll ensure advanced and professional psycho social clinical services are provided for people who require it during their involvement with the palliative care program with particular emphasis on the preparation for, and the actual, bereavement phase. The position is based within the supportive care team of the palliative care program, and provides, or coordinates referrals to appropriate grief and bereavement services to people who have recently, or who are currently receiving care from the Palliative Care Program.
