**The Role**

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Officer to work full-time in our aged care home at The Views in Heidelberg. As a Maintenance Officer, some of your responsibilities will include:

- Maintain a safe and attractive living environment to suit the needs of the residents
- Identify and prioritise resident needs to create a more home like environment
- Assist the Manager - Property in the selection of trades people to undertake specific tasks
- Maintain a planned preventative program along with ensuring documentation requirements are met
- Attend to the maintenance of buildings, ground and utilities in line with the schedule

**About you**

We're looking for someone with:

- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in a trade
- Experience in identifying standards as they relate to the provision of building maintenance
- A customer service focus with the ability to provide solutions
- Electronic Maintenance Management system experience
- A commitment to continuous improvement that enhances resident lives
