**The Company**
Troocoo are proud to be partnering with a dynamic and innovative organisation who pride themselves on delivering exceptional service. Due to extended leave, we are looking for a Procurement Officer for a nine-month fixed-term contract based in the Southern suburbs.

**The Role**
Reporting into the Procurement Specialist Lead, this Procurement Officer will provide expert procurement service and advice to the specific portfolio stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

- Co-ordinate and process purchase orders within company systems and processes.
- Manage the contract management system.
- Provide training and guidance to contract management system users.
- Advise and train internal stakeholders in supplier onboarding, vendor ID management and purchasing procedures.
- Co-ordinate supplier negotiations to deliver the best price and service.
- Develop, negotiate, and implement performance-based agreements with suppliers.
- Support the preparation and process of RFXs, EOIs and market scans to procure ‘value for money’ solutions.
- Liaise with key internal stakeholders to determine business needs as it relates to the procurement and contracting framework.
- Conduct regular performance-based supplier reviews and provide regular communication to internal stakeholders.
- Manage the Procurement intranet pages to encourage stakeholder compliance to policy and support any audit remediation that may be required from time to
time.
- Manage mailbox and service requests.

**Skills & Experience**
This position is ideal for someone immediately available, enjoys working within a fast-paced environment and great communication skills. You will have seen success within your previous positions because of your strong attention to detail skills as well as your ability to follow process and accurately record information.
- Demonstrated experience within a Procurement or Purchasing position
- Experience providing data analysis and reporting to a variety of business stakeholders
- Ability to deliver quality outcomes within set timeframes
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Tertiary education is highly desirable, with a Procurement & Supply Chain focus or a Business or Commerce related degree
