**Salary**:Clerk Grade 9/10, $125,693 to $138,510 pa, plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

**Your role**

The Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) is the lead agency in the Communities and Justice Portfolio. Communities and Justice aims to achieve a safe, just, and inclusive New South Wales (NSW) by operating an effective legal system; increasing access to social and affordable housing; protecting children and families; addressing domestic and family violence; promoting public safety; reducing reoffending; and supporting community harmony and social cohesion.

The Project Scheduler is responsible for optimising time performance and supporting Program/Project Managers with all aspects of planning and scheduling, management This includes developing and maintaining project schedules, identifying critical paths, monitoring progress, and proactively addressing delays or constraints to ensure successful project delivery

**What you’ll do**

As the Project Scheduler for Major Programs within MPD, you will develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with scope, milestones, and objectives. Work closely with project teams and stakeholders to gather inputs, monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure schedule accuracy through regular reviews and effective use of project management tools.

You'll work as part of a team of professionals that manage the Program Delivery for Infrastructure and Assets division. You'll have the opportunity to combine working from home and work in a modern office environment, as well as undertaking site visits on a regular basis.

- Demonstrated experience and background within project, program and portfolio management realm with strong capabilities in the review, analysis and distillation of data into consumable business knowledge and intelligence for decision making and outcomes.
- Excellent relationship management skills and the ability to influence all levels of stakeholders. Demonstrated experience and ability to perform the role using scheduling software such MS Project in a property related field.
