About You
You will be a confident, proactive, and organised Digital Project Manager who can navigate complex environments and bring structure to delivery.
We're looking for someone with:
- Demonstrated success delivering medium to large technology projects or programs / software applications projects;
- Industry experience within Heavy Asset Management or Heavy Engineering / Utility industries;
- Experience delivering within a Hybrid environment Agile and Waterfall;
- Experience / certification in project management methodology frameworks such as Prince 2;
- Experience with project scheduling systems such as Microsoft Projects or Primavera;
- Experience working in asset management, utilities, government, infrastructure, transport, or related sectors (highly regarded).
- Strong grounding in project governance, methodology, and best-practice delivery frameworks.
- Highly developed stakeholder management, negotiation, and dispute-resolution skills.
- Strong ability to balance competing priorities across multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a structured PMO environment.
Desirable but not essential:
- Experience with Geospatial Information Systems GIS Project Delivery;
About the Role
In this position, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of digital and technology projects that enable improved asset performance, data transparency, and business capability uplift. You'll oversee governance, planning, execution, and reporting across multiple concurrent streams—ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, business objectives, and industry best practice.
You'll work closely with operational teams, technical SMEs, vendors, and executives to ensure projects progress with clarity, control, and confidence.
What You'll Do
- Lead and deliver digital and technology projects within an asset-management or infrastructure setting.
- Apply disciplined project governance, including planning, scheduling, risk/issue management, reporting, and financial control.
- Manage project delivery using a range of methodologies including Waterfall, Scrum, SAFe, and Iterative/Incremental approaches.
- Ensure project execution aligns with organisational enterprise architecture, technical constraints, and business priorities.
- Build and maintain high-performing project teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Engage and manage internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and service providers to support project outcomes.
- Coordinate project schedules using tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
- Oversee project financials using SAP or similar enterprise finance platforms.
- Provide clear, structured communication across all project levels, including steering committees, business owners, and technical teams.
