The successful candidate will commence in January 2026, initially working remotely until the new studio is complete.

About the Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Project Architect or Senior Architect to join our growing team in early 2026.

This role will see you take ownership of a portfolio of commercial, industrial and mixed-use projects, working closely with the Director and supported by a capable team of designers and graduates.

We are looking for someone who is confident leading projects, coordinating consultants, producing high-quality designs, and contributing to the growth and culture of our Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects independently from early concept through DA, CC and IFC documentation, ensuring high-quality outcomes across all stages.
  • Coordinate consultants and stakeholders, including engineers, planners, certifiers, councils and project managers, to drive timely project delivery.
  • Oversee and produce detailed Revit documentation, including architectural drawing packages, technical details, schedules and coordination sets.
  • Ensure compliance with NCC/BCA, Australian Standards and relevant local planning controls, proactively identifying issues and resolving them early.
  • Manage client communication, providing clear updates, addressing technical queries and maintaining strong professional relationships.
  • Review and quality-check documentation prepared by designers and graduates to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance.
  • Mentor and support junior team members (designers and graduates), guiding their technical development and design capability.
  • Represent the practice in meetings, presentations and consultant workshops, confidently communicating design intent and technical direction.
  • Work closely with the Director, providing strategic input into project design, delivery strategy, and practice-wide improvements.

About You

You will be a motivated and technically strong architect who brings:

  • 7+ years' experience in an architectural practice
  • Experience delivering commercial, industrial or mixed-use projects (preferred)
  • NSW Architectural Registration (or working toward registration)
  • Proficiency in Revit, BIM workflows, Microsoft and Adobe Suite
  • Strong knowledge of NCC, BCA and the NSW DA/CC/CDC approval process
  • Excellent communication, coordination and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with professionalism and attention to detail
  • A collaborative, proactive attitude and interest in contributing to a growing studio
