**About the Role**
The Project Officer manages and implements a range of projects to support and improve service delivery within the agency.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Manage a range of projects, and support management to deliver initiatives.
- Manage and oversee particular aspects of project implementation, including monitoring project plans, coordinating resources, and managing budgets.
- Undertake research and analysis to support the development of key projects.
- Assist in managing projects designed to review, monitor and improve the effectiveness of service delivery.
- Provide timely advice and communication to relevant stakeholders regarding project status and implementation issues.
- Provide advice and support to project team members in undertaking tasks and implementing project plans as required.
- Prepare a range of project related documents as instructed, including status updates, reports, budgets and discussion papers.
- Support and assist in the development of project management methodologies and process.

**Essential Skills and Experience**
- Coordinate and track progress and implementation of projects.
- Ensure deadlines are met and resolve scheduling issues.
- Keep informed of project progress and prepare reports for management.
- Performs complex tasks and completes assignments with little or no assistance.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Works under limited supervision with latitude for independent judgment.
