**Your new company**

This organisation is the business, administrative, cultural & recreational hub of Victoria, Australia. This is the largest local government organisation in Victoria and is an inclusive, diverse, and flexible organisation. You will be part of the cutting edge Technology and Digital Innovation (TDI) branch for this role. This branch empowers the organisation and community through digital capabilities, technology platforms and access to quality data.

**Your new role**
- Collaboration with the program test team & project team members
- Lead the development of the Test Strategy with good understanding of the development life cycle and areas of testing and methods
- Lead the development of high-quality test documentation such as test plans, test summary reports, manual test cases and test reports.
- Create, maintain and perform functional test cases
- Working closely with the project team and business representatives to ensure that project deliverables adhere to industry-specific quality standards.
- Working with User Stories & features using Jira & Confluence
- Ability to manage the Test Plan, test execution and cycles in QC ALM, or Microsoft Azure Devops or similar

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Experience with international testing standards such as the ISTQB/ISEB or IEEE standards.
- Ability to work within both waterfall and agile methodologies or a hybrid
- Experience using testing tools, experience with QC ALM and Microsoft Azure Devops
- Experience in devising test strategies with varying levels of granularity
- Experienced in full end-to-end testing, including technical back end, integration and front end testing
