QA/qc Supervisor

PHE’s Power and Infrastructures division is looking for a talented QA/QC Supervisor to join the team.

In this role, you will manage a range of projects and improvement activities within the portfolio of Construction, Quality & Commissioning. You will ensure consultation of appropriate stakeholders is undertaken while providing supervision of our direct labour force on allocated projects which are delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget.

This role will be based in either Brisbane, Gympie or the Tumut office and will be required to travel to sites from time to time.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the below;
- Providing supervision of our direct labour force on a range of brownfield and greenfield projects
- Promote/ensure safe work practices on the job and abide by all WH&S & Environmental Acts and Regulations
- Commissioning check sheets
- Development, and management of Handover Work packs, ITP’s and FTR’s
- Preparation and reading of drawings, plans and diagrams of electrical installations and circuitry.
- Red-line drawing management/updating.
- Interface with operations for isolation and plant tie-ins.
- Liaise and report to external Clients
- To coordinate and promote Continuous Quality Improvement

ABOUT YOU:

- Hold a Current QLD and/or NSW Electrical Licence
- Minimum 2 years experience working as an Electrical Supervisor, Commissioning Supervisor, Electrical Control Engineer or similar
- Cert III Instrumentation
- Strong commitment to safety, customer satisfaction and quality;
- Attention to detail;
- The ability to meet targets under pressure;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral;
- Roll out and deliver the commissioning works to meet project schedules and within budget.
