- We are seeking an **Independent Grocery Account Manager** to drive sales and profit growth within key independent retailers and Metcash state offices. You will play a pivotal role in building genuine business partnerships and achieving our growth objectives.**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Sales Strategy Development**: Design and implement account plans to achieve sales targets in collaboration with internal teams, including Category, Pricing, and Marketing.
- **Financial Management**: Oversee total trade spend costs within budget and foster strong trading relationships to optimize business outcomes.
- **Stakeholder Management**: Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, driving opportunities for business improvement.
- **Market Analysis**: Conduct ongoing evaluations of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify gaps and opportunities.

**What You Bring**:

- Experience managing Metcash or Independent Grocery accounts.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for commercial modelling.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Passion for driving growth and innovation.
- Enthusiasm and a proactive mindset to elevate team performance and outcomes.
- Deep understanding of Metcash as a business and its market dynamics.
- Desire to grow your career and take on new challenges within the organisation.
