Camberwell, Australia Mayfield Childcare Limited Full time

We are seeking an experiences, dynamic and motivational educational leader to mentor and lead our team of early childhood educators with their program and curriculum. This position will form a part of the centres leadership team. You will work across all rooms within the centre as well as allocated off the floor research and planning time.

Our centre is set in beautiful facilities, located in a charming old Victorian building which provides ornate ceilings and light filled rooms that facilitate a homely atmosphere and encourage ‘identity’ and ‘wellbeing’ amongst our Little Learners community. Our playgrounds are leafy, abundant and provide numerous learning opportunities for the children. We are also conveniently located to public transport.

To be successful for the above positions you will also have:

- Diploma in early childhood or above (or ACECQA approved)
- Current WWCC
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training
- Child Protection Training
- Red Nose training (willingness to obtain)
- Food Safety (willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills,
- Sound understanding of the approved learning frameworks and the requirements under the National Quality Framework
- A team player with a strong focus on community and teamwork
- Established Leadership skills to support a culture of reflective practice to encourage continuous improvement across all aspects of the service
- Experience in leading the development and implementation of the educational program and assessment, as well as the planning cycle.
- Experience using Story Park (or willingness to learn)
- Experience in mentoring and supporting teams
- Flexibility to work within the operational hours if an education and care service
- Available to work Monday to Friday on a rotating roster

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 37.5 per week

**Salary**: From $30.05 per hour
