We have an exciting leadership role to fill on a permanent part time basis at our beautiful centre in Camberwell. Hours can be flexible for the successful applicant (full time or part time)

Our beautiful facilities, located in a charming old Victorian building provide ornate ceilings and light filled rooms that facilitate a homely atmosphere and encourage ‘identity’ and ‘wellbeing’ amongst our Little Learners community. Our playgrounds are leafy, abundant and provide numerous learning opportunities for the children

**Educational Leader**

In this position you will work as a part of the leadership team with a generous amount of allocated off the floor time for mentoring, planning and research.

**To be successful for the above position you must have**:

- Minimum diploma in early childhood (or ACECQA approved)
- Current WWCC
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training
- Child Protection Training
- Red Nose training (willingness to obtain)
- Food Safety (willingness to obtain)
- Previous educational leader and mentoring experience
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills,
- Sound Understanding of the approved learning frameworks and the requirements under the National Quality Framework
- Experience in supporting the implementation of the QIP
- Experience in supporting the implementation of the Child Safe Standards
- A team player with a strong focus on community and teamwork
- Experience in mentoring and supporting the implementation of the VEYLDF
- Flexibility to work within the operational hours if an education and care service
- Must be available to work Monday to Friday on a rotating roster

Part-time hours: 37.5 per week

**Salary**: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
