About Us:
Our team is growing We have recently grown to 14 facilities, meaning we have a rare and exciting opportunity to join the Infinite team as a full time Payroll Officer based in our Business Support Centre in Bundall. You will become part of the backbone of our existing Payroll team, and will work closely with them to provide the very best Payroll service across the organisation. We provide in depth training and therefore this is a great opportunity to develop a broad range of payroll skills, and a great fit for an outcome-focused individual who is looking for a challenge
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver timely and accurate payroll services, including fortnightly payroll, taxation, workers compensation and superannuation payments;
- Drive efficiencies in payroll processing and systems;
- Provide advice and support to managers and employees in relation to payroll, timesheets and conditions of employment to ensure compliance with internal policies and legislative instruments;
- Monitor and maintain accurate payroll records and prepare regular and ad hoc payroll reports in a timely manner and as required;
- Process all system onboarding of new employees into the HRIS & Payroll system (iChris) including understanding of terms and conditions and preparation of taxation and superannuation forms for payroll action;
- Preparing and processing payroll actions required within a fortnightly pay cycle including wage variations, terminations and leave entitlements ensuring provisions of relevant awards and enterprise agreements are met;
- Initialise and maintain personal, payroll and HR organisational details in relevant systems;
- Prepare and run payroll on a fortnightly schedule within Time Target and iCHRIS for multiple entities;
- Prepare and run terminations on an ad hoc basis for multiple entities.
- Monitoring a ticketing system (Zendesk) to manage queries and requests
- Assist in end of month reconciliations and account integration preparation; and
- General administration requirements as directed to ensure Payroll records and systems are accurate and efficiently maintained.
What we expect from you?
- Previous experience in Payroll is essential (on the job training is provided)
- Previous experience in CHRIS 21 or iCHRIS and Time Target would be highly advantageous however experience with a HRIS or payroll system is sufficient
- Strong time management and organisation skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines and prioritise workload
- The ability to work productively within a team environment in a varying and fast paced environment, whilst also maintaining a strong level and focus on attention to detail
- A willingness to engage effectively with a wide range of people and offer excellent customer service to the business. Your customer service skills are important - you are expected to go above and beyond to your internal clients (our staff)
- Excellent administrative skills including a proficiency with Excel and good numerical skills
- Work well under pressure in compressed timelines and always keep your cool - a good sense of humour is a must This is not a quiet payroll or finance team

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
