YHA Brisbane City is a 380-bed property located in the heart of the city providing comfortable and affordable accommodation and experiences to groups and independent travellers from around the world. This modern property offers a range of private and co-living accommodation rooms as well as an onsite cafe, rooftop pool and bar, co-working space, and wellness centre. Our crew of approximately 50 passionate and hardworking team members pride themselves on creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for guests and each other.

**About the role**

We are currently seeking a full time** Food and Beverage Supervisor** to lead the team and provide high-quality customer service experience whist supporting the management of Food Safety and RSA requirements. This role will be primarily supervising and mentoring the team to ensure we provide a safe, fun environment with outstanding food and beverage.

**What you'll get to do**
- Assist the Bar Manager with day-to-day operations in the Cafe, Bar and within the Group Catering function
- Oversee and co-ordinate events in the bar with the Property Management team
- Develop and manage costing for all items sold in the bar and work with the team to develop activations to promote revenue growth in the bar
- Be responsible for ordering and maintaining stock levels in the bar
- Handle guest requests, inquiries and complaints effectively and efficiently
- Provide ongoing training and coaching to Food & Beverage Attendants
- Ensure accuracy with requests, orders and service delivery
- Maintain standards of hygiene and food handling

***What are we looking for**
- Previous Supervisor or Team Leader experience in Food & Beverage service, ideally in a bar environment
- Responsible Service of Alcohol Competency Card
- Passion for being creative and
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
- Permanent residency or unlimited working rights in Australia
- Good knowledge of food and beverage service and products
- Well-groomed and professional in appearance
