**The Role**
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and friendly **Operations Manager **on a **Full Time** basis. This role is designed to provide leadership and guidance to the Duty Manager and Lifeguard teams, while assisting the Centre Manager in managing the day to day operations of the Centre. This role is hands-on with a focus on safety, supervision, risk management, facility maintenance and operations.
You will have a passion for safety around the water. You should have strong report writing & record keeping capabilities / experience. You will need outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence to ensure our patrons safely enjoy their visit every time. You will have proven Leadership qualities and have a passion for developing a high performing operations team.
You will also have an ability to engage with Key Stakeholders and build strong relationships.
Skills & Attributes
- Strong leadership experience with an ability to inspire others
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends
- Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
- National Police Check
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
- Current Pool Operations Certificate
- Previous experience and success in a comparable role
**About the Site**
The Keilor East Leisure Centre includes a number of facilities that will benefit many of the local community including 50m heated outdoor pool, 25m indoor lap pool, learn to swim pool, warm water program pool, spa, steam and sauna, as well as an indoor water playground for young children.
There is also multi-purpose rooms for health and fitness classes, gym, wellness, café, family change rooms and creche, all with a high level of regard to disability access.

As a staff member of Belgravia Leisure you will also have access to all the leisure facilities in the Moonee Valley area, including Ascot Vale Leisure Centre and Queens Park Swimming Pool.
