**Your new company**
Your new organisation is a leading pharmaceutical organisation with headquarters located in the south-eastern suburbs. A rare opportunity has become available to join the close-knit HR team in a highly influential IR/ER management position.

**Your new role**
Your new role will see you take on all ER and IR responsibilities for the southern remit for the organisation, supporting around 350+ employees. Part of the leadership team, you will play an instrumental role in providing advice and guidance to stakeholders at all levels, as well as managing and working closely with the RTW Coordinator. Your role will involve:

- Taking the lead in upcoming negotiations and attending regular union meetings
- Attending daily production meetings to support senior managers and provide regular updates to all employees
- Manage and work closely with the Return-to-Work Coordinator
- Supporting the writing, implementation and adherence to HR policies and procedures, as well as employment legislation
- Supporting the development and rollout of training, such as anti-bullying and harassment

**What you'll need to succeed**
In order to succeed in this position, you will have:

- Experience leading industrial negotiations in a highly unionised environment, ideally within the manufacturing industry
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and guide those with alternative views or opinions, in line with organisational policies and employment legislation
- Experience dealing with the commission
- The ability to have difficult or disciplinary conversations in a fair and professional manner
- Management experience (preferred but not essential)
