**The role and what we are looking for**

Capricorn's Area Managers are here to develop business with our existing Members and Preferred Suppliers, as well as establishing new business within a designated Sales territory with the goal of achieving membership and sales growth for the organisation. Based from your own home office, travelling to meet Members and Suppliers is key to this role and as such regular travel to rural areas away from home may be necessary based on the sales territory. This role will cover the Rockingham and Mandurah Area.

The successful applicant will have:

- Proven sales and/or relationship management experience with strong business and commercial acumen;
- An understanding of the automotive parts and service industry, ideally having had experience working within the industry; and
- A solid understanding of business and corporate legislation - particularly as it relates to cooperatives and the Trade Practices Act.
