**We're Hiring - Facility Manager**

Boulder Lab Ferntree Gully & Clayton

Boulder Lab is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and experienced Manager to take the lead at our Ferntree Gully gym and co-manage our Clayton gym. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a passionate, growing climbing community and to help shape the culture and experience across two of our facilities.

**About the Role**

As Facility Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

- Leading day-to-day operations at Ferntree Gully and co-managing Clayton
- Supporting and working closely with our teams across front of house, coaching, route setting, maintenance, events, and the rest of the management team.
- Managing and mentoring a team of staff, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality customer service
- Leading new-staff training
- Overseeing stock management and ordering of perishable goods
- Liaising with vendors
- Fostering a positive and welcoming space for the Boulder Lab and wider climbing community
- Contributing to the growth of the community
- Completing general front of house duties
- Maintain high level of safety, customer service and cleanliness

**About You**

We’re looking for someone who brings:

- Previous management and customer service experience
- A genuine interest in climbing and the climbing community
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Receptive to guidance and feedback
- A natural ability to lead, support, and collaborate within a team
- Strong adaptability and the ability to work across multiple locations
- A hands-on approach to maintaining and improving our spaces
- Able to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and take initiative in identifying and completing tasks.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 38 per week
