Our client is seeking an experienced **AV Project Officer** to play a key role in delivering cutting-edge AV technology to courtrooms across the state.
As the **AV Project Officer**, you'll support the rollout of essential AV technology in Queensland Courts, including systems for audio amplification, evidence presentation, recording and transcription, and video conferencing. You'll work closely with AV suppliers, reviewing and endorsing technical documentation, ensuring new installations meet high-quality standards, and providing expert technical advice throughout the project lifecycle.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-impact projects that directly contribute to the efficient operation of Queensland's judicial system.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Technical Documentation**: Assist in preparing detailed technical documentation for AV projects based on established design briefs and approved program plans.
- **Supplier Collaboration**: Review AV supplier solution proposals, bills of materials, technical specifications, and courtroom layout plans to ensure compliance with project deliverables.
- **Technical Expertise**: Provide technical advice to AV suppliers during the commissioning of new AV systems and ensure seamless integration into the organisation's infrastructure.
- **User Acceptance Testing**: Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on newly installed AV systems to ensure functionality and quality.
- **Technology Research & Improvement**: Research alternative technologies to enhance courtroom functionality or reduce costs, and keep the team informed of significant developments in the AV space.
- **Documentation Management**: Ensure the correct storage and management of financial and project-related documentation in compliance with government policies.
- **Collaboration & Communication**: Maintain strong working relationships with the CTR team, external vendors, and court users, while effectively managing project communications and competing priorities.

**Preferred Qualifications & Experience**:
- Practical experience or qualifications in audio visual technology or engineering design will be highly regarded.
**Experience with the following technologies is also highly desirable**:
- Cisco video conferencing hardware and software
- AMX control systems
- Biamp Digital Signal Processor (DSP) configuration and design
- AMX SVSI Networked Video systems
