National Business Manager

The Role

A newly created role within the Bega Group Foodservice team to oversee the sales and distribution of our much-loved Bega products to our foodservice distributors. You will support our General Manager of Foodservice, to continue to drive this high performing and award-winning team This role is critical in steering the delivery of our strategic objectives for 2025 and beyond Our Foodservice channel is an exciting area of growth that is set up for success for the right person to deliver profitable growth and make an impact immediately

Responsibilities- Responsible for driving sales growth and meeting revenue targets- Build and maintain relationships with key clients and partners- Develop and deliver training programs to sales teams, employees, and clients- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities and threats in the foodservice industry- Manage budgets, forecasting revenue, and monitoring expenses- Continuously evaluate and improve business processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction- Recruit, train and manage the Distributor sales team

About you- Deep understanding of sales and marketing principles- Excellent communication, negotiation and commercial skills- Experience leading a team in a Foodservice and/or FMCG environment- Demonstrated ability to cultivate new business relationships- Understanding of end-to-end supply chain drivers within FMCG (preferred)
