**About the role**

As the Personal Lending & Credit Cards (PL&CC) Product Owner, you will be at the forefront of working with the business and our key vendors to drive and implement the future state home lending platform for our new bank - People First Bank. You will report to the Head of Customer Delivery and lead the PL&CC lending squads to deliver a best in class loan originations experience for our customers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Working collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure Personal Lending and Credit Card Platform Strategy is developed and deployed in a way that aligns with People First Bank's strategy and enterprise architecture.
- Mentoring and supporting a cross functional team to ensure the successful delivery of lending products.
- Establishing strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication of product vision, priorities, and progress
- Building and maintaining a deep understanding of all lending platform aspects
- Owning the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept to launch to ongoing optimisation.
- Championing a customer-centric approach to product development.
- Ensuring all products comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Defining key performance indicators and metrics to track products' success and analyse data to identify opportunities for optimization continuous improvements.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless execution and delivery.

**About you**

Your experience in a Product Ownership or Lending implementation role within the loan origination, credit assessment and fulfilment value streams will ensure your success. Your deep knowledge of the banking or financial services industry in addition to your inspirational leadership style will demonstrate your capability to lead squads and vendors to design, develop and deploy the best solutions with simplicity and digital first approach.

- Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of driving results in a fast-paced, dynamic delivery-focussed environment.
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with cross functional teams, stakeholders, Steering committees and Executive committees to deliver technology outcomes.
- Sound knowledge of system designing and architecture.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and proven capability to constructively challenge the status quo and result in process improvements
- Strong communication skills with an ability to break down and summarise complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand language.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams with agile ceremonies.
