Principal Rehabilitation Advisor

As the Principal Rehabilitation Advisor, you will provide high level, timely expert advice to Department of Health senior managers, employees and other stakeholders on a range of complex and sensitive safety, health, fitness for duty, injury management, rehabilitation and return to work issues to ensure positive outcomes for the Department while developing and implementing relevant systems, strategies and processes across the Department to integrate the principles and practices of health, injury management, rehabilitation and return to work into business as usual.
**What we are looking for**:
- Proven experience in coordinating and implementing organisation-wide programs to deliver continual improvement outcomes specific to employee wellbeing, management of psychosocial risks and hazards, health promotion and workplace rehabilitation.
- High level ability to analyse, plan, and create innovative health, injury prevention/management, fitness for duty, rehabilitation and return to work initiatives and to implement and integrate them within a diverse workforce and geographically dispersed organisation.
- Proven ability to provide and prepare clear concise reports, plans or briefs on complex matters while managing competing priorities and meeting timeframes.
- High level interpersonal, problem solving, negotiation, presentation and client relationship management skills, including the ability to develop and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Australia License.
