We are seeking an experienced Plant Operator to join our plant in **Somerton, VIC** team, commencing _ASAP _on a **Full Time **basis.

This is a multi-skilled plant operation with shifts ranging across a 5 day week, within a safe and secure team working environment.

**You will have key responsibility in**:

- Operate forklift/bobcat/excavator to move materials for processing, sorting, storing and transporting
- Operate recycling processing equipment including but not limited to, shredders, granulators and sorters
- Operate forklifts & skid steer loaders to move materials for processing, sorting and transporting
- Load materials into containers for storage
- Monitor equipment operation and report malfunction and other maintenance and repair needs to the Plant Supervisor or Plant Manager
- Clean plant equipment and work areas
- Foster and promote safe working behaviours and display a commitment to Tyrecycle safety standards and OHS requirements at all times
- Other duties may include:

- Remove contamination from recyclable material
- Carry out basic maintenance tasks
- Maintain inventory records
- Perform other duties as per business requirements

**About you**:

- Experience in operating plant & mobile equipment
- Forklift (_required_)
- Bobcat, excavator, front end loader (_desired but not essential_)
- Proven commitment to health and safety
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team
- Personal drive and results orientated
