A position has become available for an astute **Transport Manager**to **oversee a team**of Logistics Coordinators and to **take charge of the supply and delivery of asphalt**throughout the state. Based out of our manufacturing plants in either Somerton or Bayswater, this role is pivotal to our business and requires a strong command of **Client Interface, Fleet Operations, National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR)**and other compliance as well as the ability to communicate with the **production & operational**teams.

**About You**
- Proficiency in leading a team and as well as strong communication, interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
- Efficient utilisation of fleet resources (including managing multiple sub-contractors) to achieve payload requirements and revenue efficiencies.
- Demonstrable understanding of fleet operations and planning, preferably with a computerised tracking package.
- Demonstrated success interfacing with operational crews to ensure project demands and productivity schedules are met.
