**About the Role**

Outlook is seeking to appoint a practice lead for its Moorabbin site. The role of practice lead is integral to the delivery of Outlook’s new, innovative and leading-edge community based programs.

The position of Practice Lead is responsible for the supervision, mentoring, coaching and development of our support worker teams. The practice lead role is dynamic, fast-paced, and requires a positive, energetic, and innovative thinker with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. We are looking for a strong leader with a drive and passion to see people with a disability achieve their life goals.

The Practice Lead is responsible for matching and rostering suitably skilled support workers to work on a range of Outlook programs. Ensuring high performing teams underpinned by a strong workplace culture is fundamental to the position. Outlook is implementing a state of the art customer managements system, so aptitude with similar programs will be essential.

Reporting to the Senior Practice Lead, who in turn reports to the Disability Services Manager, the Practice Lead will be part of a vibrant, progressive, and exciting team. **About you**

To be successful in this position you will need:

- Relevant qualification (preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication, and demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, coach and develop a diverse team
- To be flexible, reliable and dependable and willing to participate in the development of leading-edge programs and service delivery options.
- A customer and outcomes-focused approach
- Proven competency in system skills (e.g. MS Outlook, Word, Excel, OHS reporting etc)
- Demonstrated capacity for flexibility to work within a changing and fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated commitment to a safe and healthy workplace
- Commitment to and support of Outlook’s core values and code of conduct

**The Practice Lead has 5 primary areas of responsibility**:

- Support, supervise, coach, mentor, train, and develop support workers and the matching and rostering of support workers to programs.
- Participation in program development, implementation, coordination, administration & reporting.
- Uphold Outlook’s Customer Experience Framework and delivery of exceptional customer service, focused on supporting customers to achieve their goals and desired

outcomes.
- As part of the Community Services Group, contribute to the growth and expansion of Outlook Disability Services’ suite of programs and services.

**Additional Information**

**Mandatory requirements**:

- Experience in similar leadership roles or supervision of highly effective teams in the disability or community services sectors
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification
- Current NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Current Police Check
- Current Working with Children’s Check
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Triple Vaccinations required
