Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Developer – MSBI & Data Warehousing to design, develop, and optimize data-driven solutions. This role involves building robust data pipelines, reporting frameworks, and BI solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of data warehousing and business intelligence solutions.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources into SQL Server.
• Build and optimize database solutions using T-SQL.
• Design and develop reports and dashboards using Power BI and SSRS.
• Apply DAX and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for advanced analytics and automation.
• Work with Star Schema and Snowflake Schema designs for optimized reporting.
• Conduct database performance tuning and optimization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design scalable DB solutions.
• Manage release/version control using Azure Git/GitHub.
• Mentor team members and ensure adherence to best practices in BI development.

Key Criteria

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Extensive experience with MSBI tools (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Power BI) and Data Warehousing.
• Strong SQL Server and database development expertise.
• Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and database design.
• Hands-on with ETL processes, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to client requirements.
• Strong team player with mentoring capabilities.

Technical Skills

• Databases: MS SQL Server, IBM Cognos DB2, Azure SQL
• Languages: T-SQL, DAX, Python, PowerShell
• Tools: SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, IBM Cognos, Git/GitHub

Pay: $98,800.00 – $128,440.00 per year
