**About the Role**

We are currently on the look out for a Trade Assistant to join our supportive and friendly Arndell Park Maintenance team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Trade Assistant or for someone who is passionate about the mechanical industry, looking to develop practical skills to become a successful Trade Assistant.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role will see you assisting the maintenance team by ensuring all equipment is cleaned, dismantled, maintained, and repaired at all times to aid in the efficiency of the production room.

Your new role will include:

- Assisting where required with the preventative maintenance requests to ensure machinery is maintained
- Participating in the maintenance program through SAP
- Undertaking preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance
- Assisting in carrying out all site projects
- Participation in root cause analysis investigations
- Participation in 5S activities

**About you**

You are a motivated individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills. You have the ability to prioritise work and complete tasks in a timely manner. You will come with sound knowledge of safe working practices as well as the ability to identify and problem solve.

To be successful in this role you will bring:

- Minimum 2 - 3 years experience in a similar role or partial trade qualifications
- Sound organisation skills
- Attention to detail
- Previous manufacturing/FMCG industry experience (desirable)
- Fabrication/Tig welding capabilities (desirable)
