We are looking for a reliable and hard working individual for our workshop site in Wetherill Park.

Our engineering department is looking for a trades assistant to work within the light manufacturing steel industry, working among 4 to 5 people.

Shift details:

- 40 hours per week + OT

Key responsibilities:

- Putting together frames
- Measuring and Cutting Steel
- Assisting Trades (welders)
- General Labouring Duties
- Load and Unload with counter balance forklift

About you:

- Labouring experience/ Manual handling
- Steel manufacturing experience
- High regard for safety standards
- Strong work ethic and reliable **Available to start immediately**:

- Must have a can-do attitude and commitment to the company
- Ambitious and willing to grow within the company
- 1 year experience as a counter balance forklift driver (Optional)

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Forklift: 1 year (preferred)
- Trade Assisting: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
