The Role

As a Design Manager, you will act as the client’s design project manager with a strong focus on managing a number of consultants and coordination with the construction team.

Leading a number of packages at the state-of-the-art, Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) Campus project located in Woden, you will review compliance, chair design meetings, manage document control and ensure all technical requirements are met, in line with specific health and/or government sector processes and procedures.

Your Background- Degree qualified in a relevant field of study (Engineering, Construction Management etc)- Experience managing complex design processes on a range of briefs through to delivery phase on major building projects, ideally within the commercial or education sector.- Clear and articulate communication skills coupled with an ability to collaborate with, and manage multiple stakeholders- Leadership and cost control skills without compromising on driving safety, quality and sustainability- Suitable for a Senior/Project Engineer, with strong design experience, looking to step into a Design Manager role
