Overview

Design & Build are working with a leading civil engineering and construction company, delivering high-quality infrastructure projects across the ACT and surrounding regions. With a strong reputation for reliability, and safety, we're looking for an experienced Project Manager or Project Engineer ready to take the step up to join the team.

Role

As a Project Manager, you'll take full ownership of end-to-end project delivery - from planning and procurement through to execution and completion. You'll lead multidisciplinary teams, manage subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple civil and infrastructure projects from conception to completion.
  • Lead and coordinate project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Oversee budgets, schedules, and reporting to ensure projects are on track.
  • Drive compliance with WHS, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects moving smoothly.
About You
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or Project Engineer within civil construction or infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery processes, contract administration, and site operations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • A results-driven mindset with a commitment to safety and quality.
