Design & Build are recruiting on behalf of a leading Construction company in Canberra.

We are looking for a Foreman to work within the Site Team, responsible for supervising and coordinating site activities, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and keeping the project on schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all works on-site reporting to the Site Manager
  • Manage and lead site teams including trades and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards
  • Coordinate with Engineers, Site Managers, and other stakeholders
  • Monitor progress and provide regular reports to the Site/Project Manager
  • Maintain high standards of safety on site
  • Assist with planning, ordering materials, and logistics
About you:
  • Proven experience working on commercial projects, fitout, or construction
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Health & Safety focused
  • Relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience
  • Must have experience working in the Canberra Construction Sector
