**Your opportunity**
This is an integral role within NRMA’s Membership’s content and communications team. Its purpose is to deliver more value to members through content by giving them a greater sense of belonging and connection with NRMA - to feel like the NRMA values their opinions, listens to their needs and gives back to them and their community. The role will help bring to life the story of NRMA, in a way that inspires members to journey more & engage with the program - ultimately to feel excited by what they can do with the support of the NRMA.
The role will work with relevant product owners, other digital content producers, the Open Road magazine and our Creative Studio, plus any external freelancers or creative agencies to deliver to the My NRMA content strategy and help execute campaigns.
- Produce daily digital content designed to support key projects and campaigns and hit key targets in alignment with our content strategy
- Develop travel and lifestyle stories and feature pieces
- Writing skills: the ability to write concisely and to edit pieces for grammar, style and flow
- Implement best practice online content production - including SEO, usability and compliance
- Conduct interviews: need to get information quickly and efficiently
- Research information to distinguish fact from opinion
- Ensure UGC is integrated into our digital content platform
- Image editing using Adobe Photoshop or similar software
- Identify content opportunities based on customer insights, seasonality and news and events and proactively contribute ideas and insights to content planning and delivery
- Measure and report on the effectiveness and performance of content across channels
- Keep up-to-date in CMS technology and maintain an innovation mindset when producing content designed to engage our audience.
- Ensure each new piece of content is distributed on social media (external and internal) at the right time as well as distributed via member comms channels and the my nrma app
- Work with SMEs and content creators in your team and across the business to ensure an efficient and collaborative approach to content creation, sharing and production across writing for web, video, graphic design
**About You**
- Bachelor’s degree in a communications-based discipline, digital communications, journalism, creative writing, marketing, digital marketing or business or commerce.
- Over 4 years-experience working in web content management systems (CMS) for cross-platform publishing - Sitecore experience highly regarded.
- Solutions focused, with the ability to both write and decipher a brief and confidently present a solution to stakeholders, taking ideas from concept to delivery with the customer in mind
- Strong stakeholder management, presenting and influencing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an interest in storytelling
- Exceptional time management skills to juggle a multitude of tasks to meet daily deadlines
- Skilled in SEO and how to develop content to grow organic reach
- Social media savvy - must be experienced developing content for social media channels
- Proficient in Photoshop to edit images with some experience in image design
- Content distribution planning experience across owned and earned channels
- Proficient in digital analytics (Google Analytics) and reporting, with the ability to use these insights to develop content recommendations for the business
- Understanding of performance-focused content. The incumbent will know how to optimise content based
