About the role

**You will have responsibility for, but not limited to**:

- Consolidation and quality assurance of utilities data (energy, waste, water) for Queensland state schools.
- Developing and proactively fostering effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Providing advice and support on all aspects of utilities management to school and corporate officers.
- Undertaking administrative requirements associated with utilities appropriation payments and other duties as required.

While this role is primarily situated within the Utilities and Sustainability team, the role may be required to work across any team of Facilities Management Services.
In accordance with the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000, a person is prohibited from working in regulated child-related employment unless the person holds a current Working with Children Check clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
The ideal applicant
- Solid Microsoft Excel skills and a high level of comfort working with spreadsheets.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to problem solve and be adaptable.
- Excellent attention to detail and an ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are met.
- A desire to continually develop skills and knowledge in relation to utilities management.

The following attributes are advantageous but not mandatory (you will learn on the job):

- Familiarity with SAP and invoice payment processes.
- Familiarity with SAPA (School Appropriation Payments Application).
- Previous education or experience working in statistical analysis or data management.
- Previous experience working in a relatively autonomous role as part of a small team.
