Maintenance Officer, ASAP Start Perm role

Client is good quality multi-disciplinary property consultancy. They provide a very broad range of related consultancy services to huge variety of clients. For this role, they are currently on site managing a couple of large, industrial facilities and they are looking to engage the services of an experienced Maintenance officer to play a key role for the Facilities Management team on site in Brisbane's south

**Your new role**
The Facilities team plays key role in the management of the large industrial sites on behalf of the client. This role is a technical support role and a potential career entry point to the Facilities Management area.
On the sites, the vast majority of hard services work is sub-contracted out to specialist providers,but the FM business retains a small team to do some of the more handyman type work to avoid need for minor works contract. So need someone ideally with trade background, but also have some multi-trade or handyman experience to carry out wide range of maintenance and repair tasks. The role will also help to provide some oversight and supervision of the subcontractors or carrying out inspections, condition reports, etc.

Indicative salary level would be 80-85k plus super. The role is based at one purpose built site in SW Brisbane. Some travel to cover / help at 2 smaller sites nearby may be required.
