As the Facilities Officer at Queensland Treasury, you will play an integral part in supporting our commitment to driving government priorities and fostering economic growth for all Queenslanders. You'll be entrusted with managing the successful delivery of facilities projects, interacting with diverse parties across the Treasury and ensuring top-level service quality.
In this role, you will:
Develop local strategies, procedures and work practices, for best practices across varying facilities related disciplines, including but not limited to waste management, building emergency procedures and proactive and reactive maintenance schedules.
Plan and deliver facilities services and projects that align with changing business needs, including but not limited to office relocations, minor fit outs, reconfigurations, Machinery of Government changes, maintenance and repairs.
Support the reliability and performance of mobile devices and services through the provision of: Asset maintenance, including warranty monitoring; Asset support (incident and problem management); and Asset disposal.
Investigate, analyse, interpret or evaluate information for the guidance of staff or customers.
Manage critical requests for accommodation related issues with support from senior management.
Negotiate and manage support services provided by external service providers.
Foster a strong client focus and a commitment to quality service delivery based on recognised best practices, continuous process improvement and value for money.
Support the broader Information Services team where required.
What experience you will bring:
Project coordination or project management experience.
Competency in the use of Microsoft Office 365, in particular Excel and Word.
Experience in writing quality process documentation and internal communications.
Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications needed for this role, relevant qualifications will be highly regarded.
