**About the role**:
Atturra is looking for a driven and motivated
**Azure Cloud Operations Lead** to work within the Business to showcase their strong skills to Atturra’s customers.

**In your role as Azure Cloud Operations Lead, you will be responsible for**:

- Leading the operations of all production Azure hosted environments including the operating environment, software, compliance and security.
- Ensure best practices and controls in place to monitor SLAs of the environments
- Ensure proper monitors and alerts are configured that actively keep uptime high, and production incidents low. Develop mechanisms for monitoring and reporting on IT controls compliance
- Work with IBM and Defence operations teams to strategize how to effectively and efficiently bring systems from Dev to QA to Preprod and finally Prod.
- Work with product managers/product owners to prioritise work to meet obligations and opportunities
- Support escalations for multiple infrastructure technologies
- Ensure proper hand-off with full documentation/knowledge-transfer occurs (post project delivery, post-releases) into Operations team(s)
- Establishes operational standards, roadmap, and delivery of infrastructure automation aimed at reducing manual work (provisioning, monitoring/alerting, etc.)
- Establish goals, balancing priorities and ensure project delivery (against agreed upon plan and KPIs/service levels) are met and completed successfully
- Ensures that appropriate capabilities exist to continuously improve delivery of technologies, and monitoring of infrastructure & systems to identify utilisation and performance issues

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years of experience in Cloud Operations Lead / Manager
- Experience in building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders and delivery teams
- Demonstrated ability to promote continuous improvement of team environments
- Demonstrated ability to manage project objectives such as scope, budget and schedules,
- Must be an Australian Citizen with a minimum of an active Baseline clearance,
- Must have effective written and verbal communication skills, with both technical and non-technical audiences,
- Ability to effectively recognise and adapt to change,
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment,
- High level of enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and highly self-motivated,
- Must be able to communicate with and present to a variety of different audiences, and
- Have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals in a diverse community.
