At Spinal _Home_ Help (SHH), we’re on a mission to make a real difference in the lives of people with disabilities and their families. It all started when our founder, Malakai, sustained a spinal cord injury in a surfing accident. During his rehabilitation, he discovered a passion for advocacy and a desire to help others facing similar challenges. And so, SHH was born.

We’re looking for compassionate and dedicated support workers who want to make a real impact. If you’re someone who values feeling valued and appreciated, we’d love to hear _from_ you.

As a support worker with SHH, you’ll work with people with disabilities and/or mental health conditions to help them meet their goals, live independently, and exercise choice and control. We take a person-centered approach, tailoring our support to meet each individual’s unique needs and preferences.

As a Disability Support Worker, you’ll be working with some of the most vulnerable people in our communities. We require all our support workers to hold or be willing to obtain:

- a Disability Worker Screening or current Yellow Card
- a current working with children/Blue card exception
- a First Aid and CPR certificate
- a Worker Orientation Module “Quality, Safety and You,”

Not essential but highly regarded:

- Cert III in Individual Support or equivalent
- Manual Handling certification
