We are looking for a customer-driven and capable Assistant Store Manager to join our Belconnen store. The Assistant Store Manager will lead their team, inspire success, and support the Store Manager in all areas of people management and store management.

**Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be responsible for**:

- Ensure the Customer Experience is #1 in all processes and decisions.
- Making Belconnen a destination Store for employment and shopping alike
- Foster collaboration and FUN to drive Team results.
- Meet Store and Company-wide KPIs.
- Assisting with sales, wages, and shrinkage budgets
- Facilitating Stock-take process
- Provide timely guidance and feedback to develop your Team Members
- Foster a collaborative, fun and purposeful team environment.

**About you**:
Inherently natural born leader. You understand what exceptional customer service in Retail looks like. In addition, you can demonstrate:

- Leadership and development training (highly desirable)
- Experience in Home or Apparel retail
- A commitment to workplace health and safety practices
- Strong visual merchandising standards and diligence
- Confident and clear communication skills
- Well-developed people skills and influencing sales skills.
- Strong mentoring and coaching abilities
- The ability to multitask and excel under pressure.
- Computer literacy
- Current First Aid certification or willing to be trained
