Our core business lines include student placement to Australia, US, UK, Canada and New Zealand, our globally used and recognised English Language Testing (IELTS) and IDP Connect which provides our University & Institutional partners with unparalleled access to student insights and engagement.

We have a newly created opportunity within the IDP Connect APAC team. The Head of External Relations will lead the region's marketing communications, events, research and industry/partnership liaison functions to further build IDP's positioning as the preeminent thought leader in international education in the region. This is a diverse role and will incorporate;
- Leading all marketing communication and go to market activities
- Building IDP's profile and brand for our rich research and insights capability and developing new strategic partnerships across the sector
- Leading an integrated B2B event strategy, increasing IDP's profile and positioning focused on driving commercial outcomes
- Nurturing deep industry engagement and managing the development of strategic client and industry stakeholder advisory forums/boards to drive thought leadership on the future direction of the international education sector.
- Leading and developing a high performing team that are aligned to IDP's values and strategic objectives.
- An established profile within the industry; you are already an active participant/voice in key industry forums
- Outstanding strategic stakeholder and partnership development skills and experience convening and hosting senior networking groups
- Sound, well-honed skills in marketing communications and events (strategy and execution)
- A passion for data and finding a story within - exceptional ability to gather, interpret and analyse quantitative and qualitative data.
- A strong track record of leadership and building talent capability.

This position can be located in either **Melbourne or Sydney.**
